Bring in your old door or schedule a free in-home estimate, choose from our wide selection of door blanks, and we will prep your new door to fit the existing frame. Did you know SBS has a variety of off–the–shelf Cabin Kits and Shell Packages? Our original classic, the Caribou Cabin basic shell package starts at 12'x16'. Utilizing the 4'modular panels, produced by our own Panel Plant, you can extend the size of your cabin in 4' increments. It allows you to decide how big or small to build, to fit your needs. The Caribou Cabin package includes floor joists, trusses, prebuilt wall panels, windows, and doors.
They were created with a Portable Design. Most components weigh less 100lbs. and can be handled easily by two people. Kit pieces can be transported without the use of heavy equipment. SBS also offers delivery options, to help you get closer to building your dream cabin. How to Build: We provide step by step directions, you can ask your sales rep. for a print copy, DVD or find it on You Tube.
This year we launched the Bear Series Cabin Shell Packages, Black Bear, Grizzly and the Kodiak. Larger than the Caribou, the Bears come with a 2 Story Loft and Covered Porch. Black Bear 16' x 20' | Grizzly Bear 20' X 24' | Kodiak Bear 24' x 28'.
The Bear Cabin Packages include insulation, sheetrock, kitchen, siding, foundation, floor system, prefabricated wall panels, roof truss package, loft floor framing, metal roofing, 6 panel main door, vinyl windows, treated deck framing and boards/porch beams, assembly hardware, exterior wall/trim paint, and loft ladder system.
You can also customize your cabin with Add-On Packages or A’ La Carte. SBS can fully customize your cabin, from insulation to siding, kitchen to heating and more! Additional add-ons will be quoted upon request.

Our home packages have been designed with Alaskans in mind. Affordable, comfortable housing that will stand-up to tough weather conditions. We’ve made a point of selecting building materials that have a proven record in rural communities with materials like metal roofing and siding, R-34, R-38 and R-47 insulation and energy rated vinyl windows.
Our program offers a selection of tiny homes, two, three and four bedroom plans. Complete blueprints and itemized materials list are included with each package. From color selection on roofing and siding, to the finish touches of flooring and countertops, you can customize the home decor to your style. We can customize any plan to your specific needs.
