QEST TUBING -
The Product for Nearly Every Plumbing Job
A product that had its beginnings in RVs and mobile homes in the 1970s is now becoming a standard for in-home plumbing systems, with especially good applications in Alaska. QestPEX, is a polyethelene tubing that is replacing copper piping due to its versatility, easy-to-fit installation, corrosion resistance and most importantly, resistance to freezing.

QestPEX cross-linked tubing is perfect for many residential, commercial and industrial applications. It meets ASTM standards and will handle all normal temperatures and pressures for residential potable water systems and radiant floor heating applications. Because it stays flexible at all temperatures, it can be installed year-round.
Another advantage to QestPEX is that nothing sticks to it. That means the product resists mineral buildup, rust, corrosion and electrolysis. Just connect to galvanized, copper, polybutylene and CPVC systems with standard, easy-to-use Qest fittings. Since it requires less fittings, you also reduce the chance for installation errors.
When making crimp and thread connections, QestPEX involves no exotic parts to fail, solvents, bonding agents are glues are unnecessary, as are flame, solder, flux or gas. QestPEX also eliminates most water hammer conditions.
Just about the only place you don’t want to use QestPEX pipe is areas where pipes are exposed to or stored in direct sunlight or for air conditioning systems with refrigerant.
Qest Products is a division of Zurn Industries, offering plumbing systems with the highest level of quality control in the industry.
