SBS carries the 3 ½-inch Gas Powered, Round Head Framing Nailer. It operates on a fuel rod and cordless battery, eliminating the need for an air hose and compressor. An adjustable depth of drive nose piece assures proper nail down with varying materials and the easy two-step loading procedure saves time and money. This nailer is well balanced and lightweight at just 7.9 pounds, and it drives up to two nails per second and 1,000 nails per hour. The interchangeable 7.2V, 1.4Ah battery is compatible with most Hitachi charging systems and charges in one hour (half the time of the leading competition). The battery will fire over 4,000 nails per charge and each fuel rod fires 1,200 nails. It can fire up to 3 ½-inch x .131 round head nails, beating the competition by a ¼ inch. Other features of this tool include a collapsible rafter hook, low battery indicator light and E-Z view magazine that provides a simple nail check.

SBS also stocks a complete line of gas powered finish nailers including the 15-Gauge 2 ½-inch Angled Finish Nailer, the 16-Gauge 2 ½-inch Straight Finish Nailer and the 18-Gauge two-inch Straight Finish Nailer. Each comes with a free 3.6V Lithium Ion Screwdriver body that is compatible with the same battery used in the nailers. Fuel rods can be replaced immediately upon depletion instead of waiting for a compressor cycle and the double-lock fuel compartment latches securely, keeping the fuel rod seated firmly. Lightweight, at around four pounds, the nailers are perfect for balance, maneuverability and minimal user fatigue and they’re ideal for overhead and extended use applications. The patented elastomer handle provides comfort and ensures a secure grip and the tool-less depth of drive adjustment allows for flush drives into various materials. Each finish nailer comes with a 1-hour AC/DC charger with adapters for charging in standard wall outlets or in the car.
