One of the most popular products you’ll find at your local SBS store is the Anchor Aspen Stone®, a lightweight and easy to handle stone for projects up to two-feet high. Alaskans use Anchor Aspen for a variety of projects, from terraced planters to tree rings and fire pits. The stones come in three colors: natural gray, rose brown and buff. Aspen Stone features the patented Anchor rear-lip technology, which makes it easy to install, without the need for pins or mortar. Use Aspen Stone for curved or straight walls. The result is an easy, affordable wall with a rough-hewn, timeless appearance.

For larger projects, consider an Anchor Highland Stone® free standing wall. Blocks are available in 3-inch and 6-inch sizes, perfect for different size retaining walls. Matching caps add a finished look. Beautiful and strong, yet versatile, Highland Stone can be used for straight or curved walls, and is great for seating areas or columns. SBS carries two colors of Highland Stone – granite and autumn blend. The product’s random natural look will add elegance to a patio, walkway or courtyard and is a favorite among do-it-yourselfers and contractors alike.

SBS also carries a more high-end, commercial grade retaining wall block, Diamond Pro. Each block covers one square foot, and also employs Anchor’s rear lip design to ensure proper alignment and precise setback. This product can be used for extremely tall walls, although ambitious projects may need to be engineered. Diamond Pro comes in natural gray, rose brown and buff colors.
