Inside Sales I

Job Duties
Provide quality customer service to retail and contractor customers in knowledgeable and professional manner related to sales activities.

Greet and welcome customers.
Assess customer needs.
Provide information about products, including price and availability.
May handle special order sales.
Process sales transaction via the computer.
Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
Assist with inventory control, housekeeping and merchandising.
Assist with overall safety program at the location.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Must have strong customer service skills. Previous sales experience and knowledge of building materials including millwork preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary as this position works directly with the public and with other SBS employees. Should have good computer skills. Ability to perform medium work involving exerting up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently.
