Driver I

Job Duties
Operate trucks and associated equipment within company, state and federal regulations to deliver material insuring quality customer service.

Safely load and secure materials on vehicle.
Insure material is all documented according to company procedures.
Accept payment on COD orders.
Maintain radio contact with supervisor.
Perform regular, routine equipment safety checks on vehicle and equipment.
Report any maintenance or safety deficiencies to supervisor immediately.
Assist in building loads.
Develop an understanding of products and uses.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Must fill out DOT application in addition to SBS application. Must have a current ICC physical card and driving record for the previous three years, class B CDL with airbrake endorsement, a clean driving record and strong customer service skills. Forklift experience helpful. Requires heavy lifting (80 lbs. occasionally and/or 50 lbs. frequently and/or 20 lbs. constantly).

Personal Protective Equipment
Company provides ANSI Class B hardhat, goggles, optional back brace and safety glasses. Employee will provide cut/puncture resistant gloves, safety toed, slip resistant shoes, arctic clothing, insulated gloves and insulated boots.
